of Management and Budget Bulletin No. 08-01, dated November 20, 2007, and are available at
http://www.bls.gov/lau/lausmsa.htm. Areas in the six New England states are Metropolitan New England City and
Town Areas (NECTAs), while areas in other states are county-based. Some metropolitan areas lie in two or more
states. They are listed under the state that appears first in their titles. Davenport-Moline-Rock Island,
