Schedule of Data Release Dates for Coming Months

The Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) program is a cooperative Federal-State endeavor. States determine their own release schedules, some of which are earlier than the BLS schedule. Please note that the Get Detailed LAUS Statistics tools for data retrieval will be unavailable from 10:00 AM to approximately 10:30 AM on the day of a Local Area Unemployment Statistics release because the LAUS database is updated during that time.

Below are the schedules of unemployment data release dates by area type for the remainder of 2008 and the new schedule for 2009.
