Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey

There were 3.3 million job openings in the U.S. on the last day of September 2008. The job openings rate (2.3 percent) was essentially unchanged while the hires rate increased slightly to 3.2 percent and total separations rate decreased slightly to 3.0 percent. More...
