NOTICE The Employment Projections (EP) Program no longer publishes the Occupational Projections and Training Data bulletin. Most of the content has been revised to reflect the 2008-18 employment projections, and is available on other pages on the EP website, primarily in the new technical documentation section. The link above contains a listing of the locations where revised content can be found.
Data from the National Employment Matrix, beginning with the 2008-18 projection series, are subject to a new rounding convention. Employment statistics are rounded to the hundred and presented in thousands. Please see the Definitions and Concepts page for more information.
Standard Occupational Classification— The SOC system is used by government agencies to classify workers into occupational categories for the purpose of collecting, calculating, or disseminating data.
